Swimming with whale sharks is immensely awe-inspiring. Shot during a day out on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, this was a true bucket-list experience, and hopefully I get to swim with the giant, graceful sharks again someday. I was trying to shoot a lot of photos, but had to keep lowering my camera just to watch the beautiful creatures with my own eyes. Luckily I did manage to shoot a few ‘keepers’ over the course of the day, between the moments of wide eyed astonishment.
All images are printed on the highest grade fine art materials available. I’ve chosen ILFORD Gold Fibre Gloss as my go to cotton paper, and for canvas the top of the line ILFORD Galicia. All canvas prints are sealed for protection and longevity. Both mediums are museum grade, and will last a lifetime (and longer). Using a local, Geelong based fine art print lab (www.aeternalab.com), their knowledge and expertise combines with the large format Epson fine art printer, not to mention the top of the line Epson Ultrachrome inks that produce stunningly accurate and vibrant fine art prints.
