The tiny, magical town of Reine, in northern Norway. Easily one of the most visually impressive places I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. For a place so regularly ravaged by absolute extremes of weather, I was extraordinarily fortunate to wake up to my first morning there with not a breath of wind - and blue skies. My luck ran out thereafter however, as conditions for the best northern lights in years were present every night following, and I didn’t get a single chance to witness the show. Heavy cloud and rain lashed the region for the entire rest of the week that I spent there. But that won’t stop Reine from being one of the most epic places I’ve ever experienced.
All images are printed on the highest grade fine art materials available. I’ve chosen ILFORD Gold Fibre Gloss as my go to cotton paper, and for canvas the top of the line ILFORD Galicia. All canvas prints are sealed for protection and longevity. Both mediums are museum grade, and will last a lifetime (and longer). Using a local, Geelong based fine art print lab (www.aeternalab.com), their knowledge and expertise combines with the large format Epson fine art printer, not to mention the top of the line Epson Ultrachrome inks that produce stunningly accurate and vibrant fine art prints.
